Canada Express Entry Next Draw Prediction 2023
The Canadian government conducts an Express Entry draw approximately every two weeks. The last draw was conducted on 18th January. The expected next Canada express entry draw prediction is January 25, 2023.
The Express Entry program is the fastest and most popular immigration program for Canada PR Visa. Introduced in 2015, it is an application management system, that manages the profiles of the immigrants who have applied for PR Visa under three federal economic immigration programs:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
Express entry profiles are ranked in the pool based on their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. The highest-ranked profiles are issued ITAs (Invitation to Apply) to submit their application for PR Visa to the Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Canada holds express entry draws regularly for approximately two weeks. On average two entry draws are held in a month.
All the immigrants who want to move to Canada as permanent residents keep frequent tabs on Canada Express entry draw predictions.
Generally, Express Entry draws are held every two weeks on a Wednesday. Due to COVID-19, Canada is targeting CEC candidates and Express entry candidates with provincial nomination through program-specific express entry draws. Through this, Canada is prioritizing candidates who are currently in Canada only.
The latest Express Entry draw was #238 on January 18, 2023. Total 5,500 ITAs were issued to Express Entry candidates with a CRS cut-off set at 490 points.

COVID-19 Impact on Express Entry
Canada is still issuing invitations for PR Visa. However, as of January 2021, invitations have only been sent out to applicants with provincial or CEC nominations.
IRCC has said it will not refuse an incomplete request for missing documents due to COVID-19.
If your PR visa application is due, you can submit your application with the missing documents, but be sure to include a letter of explanation, mentioning the missing documentation and the reasoning behind it. IRCC will give you 90 days to complete the missing steps in your application
